    Lovinac obiluje prirodnim znamenitostima i omogućuje uživanje u različitim planinarskim doživljajima. Zaljubljenicima u planinarenje posebno je privlačno područje Parka Prirode Velebit koje prekriva gotovo polovicu površine općine i nudi niz mogućnosti uspona na prekrasne vrhove i vidikovce.

    Svi koji vole prirodu i brinu o njoj ovdje će se osjećati ugodno jer je cijelo područje ispunjeno čistim vodama (velikim brojem stalnih vrela, potoka i rijeka), čistim tlom te očuvanim krajolikom. Rafting.....

    Brojne geomorfološke zanimljivosti proizlaze iz krškog reljefa poput slikovito oblikovanih vrhova, kukova, greda, ponikvi, škrapa, krških depresija, a zanimljivi su i mnogi speleološki objekti (špilje, ponori, jame).

  • Odmor u prirodi

    Smještajni kapaciteti prostiru se cijelim krajem i namijenjeni su pojedinačnim, obiteljskim i grupnim dolascima. Posjetitelji se mogu smjestiti u hostelu ili privatnim apartmanima uživajući u domaćim proizvodima od sira, meda, rakije, janjetine i ukusnog ličkog krumpira.

Zir

Zir route starts from the center of Lovinac in the direction of hamlet Piplice with gorgeous views of Visočica and Budak. It passes along Rokina cave, crossing over Piplice meadows where on the hill Piplica you will find archaeological site of Iapodian culture over more than 2000 years old. Passing along the wellspring Banica it turns right and enters the main road towards the Gornja Ploča (Upper Board), and after less than a kilometer turns left and goes into the hamlet Parčići. It continues along the narrow rural road and passes over the motorway A1 overpass. Immediately after the descent from the overpass the route turns right and goes through the pine woods along the ground pathways in the direction of Zir. Coming out from the pine forest, sunny meadows preserved by Zir can be seen. Campestral lane ends in entering the gravel road approaching the hill Zir which hides a beautiful cave and whose top boasts a breathtaking panoramic view. The route continues towards the quarry Debeljača where a very interesting cave Debeljača is situated. From the top of Debeljača the route descends towards Bukanjski gorge where the road to the left leads to the church of St. Francis and Vranička cave, and the route continues to the right towards Lovinac. Entering Lovinac the route turns left next to the old mill Travič in the center where it ends.
